Flying Monkey

What Is Flying Monkey and How Did Three Brothers Build a Florida Hemp Brand From Scratch?

Flying Monkey started with three brothers and a hands-on approach to hemp — literally handcrafting CBD pre-rolls before any sophisticated production infrastructure existed behind the brand. That origin is not just brand mythology; it is the foundation of the operating philosophy Flying Monkey has maintained as the company scaled. The brand describes its model as owning and operating every level — raw materials, production and distribution. No outsourcing to co-packers for formulation, no third-party manufacturing for extraction, no wholesale biomass from anonymous suppliers. The three brothers who started with handcrafted pre-rolls now oversee a vertically integrated operation that gives the brand direct control over the quality and consistency of every product from the field through the final package.

Flying Monkey is a family-owned Florida brand — not a private equity portfolio company, not a white-label operation behind a recognizable name. The brand has been featured in Leafly, Herb and LA Weekly as a notable producer in the hemp-derived cannabinoid space. The "Trust the Monkey" positioning that Flying Monkey uses on its product site refers specifically to the vertical integration: when the same team controls raw materials, extraction, formulation and distribution, the chain of custody over every input is auditable in a way that sourcing-from- wholesale brands cannot match. Third-party lab testing covers the full six-panel screen — heavy metals, microbials, mycotoxins, pesticides, residual solvents and foreign materials — results published publicly at flyingmonkeyusa.com/pages/testresults. All hemp is organic and USA-grown. Full-spectrum across the catalog.

What Is the Flying Monkey 42.0 THCA Diamond Pre-Roll — 42% Infusion, 10 Strains and Live Resin?

The Flying Monkey 42.0 THCA Diamond Infused Pre-Roll is the brand's flagship pre-roll format at ProCannabis — a 2-pack of 2g pre-rolls totalling 4 grams (4,000mg) per pack. The "42.0" designation refers to the 42% THCA diamond infusion level, which is the specification that separates this format from standard THCA pre-rolls on the market. A plain THCA pre-roll is a grind of THCA-rich hemp flower rolled in paper. The Flying Monkey 42.0 adds two concentrate components to the base flower: THCA diamonds and live resin.

THCA diamonds are near-pure crystalline THCA pressed from concentrate through a controlled chromatography and crystallization process — the highest-concentration THCA extract form available. When integrated into the pre-roll at 42% of the total mass, the diamond infusion dramatically elevates the effective THCA-per-gram of the finished product beyond what the flower alone delivers. Live resin — extracted from fresh-frozen hemp preserving the full terpene and minor cannabinoid profile of the source cultivar — contributes the flavour complexity and effect character that plain distillate infusions cannot match. The result of combining indoor-grown THCA flower, 42% THCA diamond infusion and live resin in natural unbleached paper is a pre-roll that delivers the full-conversion Delta-9 THC experience on combustion at significantly higher effective cannabinoid concentration than most flower-only or surface-coated diamond pre-rolls achieve. Each roll is individually sealed to preserve the terpene integrity of the live resin infusion between sessions. Independent lab tested, ≤0.3% Delta-9 THC. What Are the 10 Flying Monkey Pre-Roll Strains — and How Do Sativa, Hybrid and Indica Differ?

Flying Monkey offers 10 strain-specific options across the full effect spectrum — five Sativas, two Hybrids and three Indicas — covering every session type from high-energy creative work to deep evening relaxation. All 10 carry the same 42% diamond infusion and live resin formula; the strain selection determines the terpene character and the qualitative effect direction of each roll.

Sativas (5): Alaskan Thunder F*ck — the legendary high-THCA Sativa with pungent, earthy and piney terpene character, associated with sharp focus, creative energy and cerebral intensity. One of the most widely recognized Sativa cultivar names in cannabis history. Blue Dream — sweet berry terpene profile from Blueberry and Haze genetics, a balanced Sativa-dominant Hybrid that delivers daytime relaxation without sedation, popular for social and creative use. Grape OG — juicy grape terpene expression with the OG Kush depth underneath, a mood-lifting Sativa suited to social and active sessions. Fruity Pebblez — the candy-cereal fruit terpene profile from Granddaddy Purple and Green Ribbon genetics, an energizing Sativa-dominant option for sustained daytime productivity. Strawberry Kush — sweet strawberry terpenes on a Kush genetic base, an uplifting strain that balances the cerebral energy of a Sativa with the mild body ease of Kush lineage.

Hybrids (2): Cherry Zlushie — a balanced Hybrid with cherry sweetness and the slushie-candy terpene profile from modern exotic Hybrid genetics, delivering mood elevation and relaxation in equal measure without committing to the full sedation of an Indica. Purple Punch — fruity and sweet with grape and blueberry terpene character from Larry OG and Granddaddy Purple, a Hybrid that runs slightly Indica-leaning in its body-relaxation weight while maintaining the mood-lifting quality Hybrid buyers prefer for versatile use.

Indicas (3): Watermelon Bubba — the fresh watermelon terpene profile on a Bubba Kush genetic foundation, a full Indica with the deep calming body effect and mild flavour sweetness of the Bubba lineage. Gelato 41 — rich dessert terpene character from Sunset Sherbet and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies genetics, the full relaxation profile of a high-quality Indica in one of the most popular modern cultivar names. Kush Berry — the rich berry terpene expression layered over OG Kush genetics, a heavy Indica suited to end-of-day and high-tolerance users who want the maximum body weight the Kush lineage delivers.

What Are Flying Monkey's Three Blends — THCA, CB9A and Space Monkey?

Flying Monkey organizes its full catalog around three named blend families, each targeting a distinct cannabinoid profile and effect character. The blend system extends across all product formats — disposables, gummies and pre-rolls carry their respective blend designations rather than being sold as generic cannabinoid products.

THCA blend: Flying Monkey's THCA product family covers disposables, gummies and pre-rolls built around high-THCA hemp formulas. The ProCannabis pre-roll is the THCA blend entry — 42% THCA diamond infusion with live resin across 10 strain-specific options. Flying Monkey's THCA blend positioning is focused on the full-conversion cannabis experience: THCA converts to Delta-9 THC on combustion or vaporization, delivering the complete psychoactive profile that makes THCA-formatted hemp products the closest legal equivalent to traditional high-THC cannabis available in the hemp market.

CB9A blend: Flying Monkey's CB9A product family uses cannabinoid 9-acetate — a semi-synthetic cannabinoid derived from CBD that does not crystallize in oil — as the base compound alongside THCP. The CB9A blend is positioned as Flying Monkey's next-generation cannabinoid offering for buyers who want a powerful, elevated experience through a cannabinoid stack that addresses the crystallization problem common in large-format high-potency devices. CB9A activates CB1 receptors at potency comparable to Delta-9 while staying fluid across extended device lifespans — the same engineering logic used by other high-capacity disposable brands for large-format devices.

Space Monkey blend (Live Resin THCP+D8): The Space Monkey family combines Delta-8 THC, THCP and live resin — the same fresh-frozen extract approach that Flying Monkey uses in its pre-roll infusion, applied here to a vape and edible format. Delta-8 provides smooth body relaxation at lower CB1 affinity than Delta-9. THCP — with its documented high CB1 binding affinity of approximately 33 times Delta-9's — amplifies intensity above the Delta-8 baseline. Flying Monkey describes the Space Monkey blend effect as a "combo productive buzz with calming effects." What Else Does Flying Monkey Make — the Full Catalog of Disposables, Gummies and GOLDS Pre-Rolls?

Flying Monkey's full catalog at flyingmonkeyusa.com spans three product categories across its three blend families, plus a merch line and loyalty programme. Disposables are the largest format category — multiple devices across the THCA, Space Monkey and CB9A blends, including the Purest V2 Live Resin 7.5G Disposable (a large-format device using the Space Monkey live resin formula) and the THCP Rosin Enhanced 2G Disposable (a compact rosin-enhanced format in the Space Monkey blend). Gummies cover the full cannabinoid range across the three blend families — Flying Monkey produces cannabinoid-infused edibles in multiple potency tiers and flavor options across THCA, Delta-8+THCP and CB9A formulas. Pre-rolls extend beyond the 42.0 THCA format at ProCannabis to include the GOLDS Rosin Enhanced Diamond Infused Prerolls — 1.65g rolls in a 2-count and 10-count pack, rosin enhanced rather than live resin infused, positioned as Flying Monkey's rosin-focused premium pre-roll alongside the diamond-infused 42.0 line. All Flying Monkey vaporizers feature a product verification sticker that buyers can authenticate at flyingmonkeyusa.com/pages/ verification — an anti-counterfeit measure the brand introduced given the prevalence of counterfeit hemp vape devices in the market. The Monkey Points loyalty programme accumulates points on purchases at flyingmonkeyusa.com. Flying Monkey merch covers branded tees — Liquid Letters, Thank You For Smoking, Script Letters, Lit — in a "stay fly while getting high" apparel line.
